  2. Thank you so much for checking us out when we first released our Beta in Jan. Trekaroo is continuing to grow and our content in other parts of the US is getting filled out progressively. You can now search for most major US destinations and find some reviews from families. We’ve also launched some really cool new features that make trip planning easier.

    1) Mapimagical Maps – smart maps that will redo your search as you zoom and pan. Great for planning road trips. Take it for a spin here: http://www.trekaroo.com/places/san-francisco-bay-area-california/activities

    2) Filters that allow you filter activities by cost, age appropriateness, and thing families like e.g. cribs in a hotel. Our newest filter is a proximity filter that allows you to find what’s near a city or a point of interest.

    3) Compliments – allows members to communicate their appreciation of the help they are offering each other.

    4) Lists – allow folks to organized their recommendations under specific themes e.g. Destination Worthy Playgrounds: http://www.trekaroo.com/list/top-10-destination-playgrounds-in-san-francisco-bay-area-2/show

    Those are the highlights!
